Information we handle

Row.md is designed to work without an account. We do not ask you to create a profile, submit a password, or provide payment information to use the Markdown editor.

When you open a file from your device, it is read in your browser. When you paste a public GitHub Markdown URL, your browser requests that public file from GitHub. We do not operate a document-upload service or store your selected files on our server.

Local browser data

Row.md may use your browser's local storage to keep an in-progress Markdown draft on the device you are using. This lets you return to a draft in the same browser. You can remove this data by clearing site data or local storage in your browser settings.

Our server may process routine technical request information, such as an IP address and browser information, in standard hosting or security logs. We use this only to operate, secure, and diagnose the service.

Advertising and cookies

Row.md may display advertisements through Google AdSense or other advertising partners. When ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads.

Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site and/or other sites. Third-party vendors may also place or read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses, as part of serving ads on this site.

We do not control the cookies or data practices of advertising partners. Their use of data is governed by their own policies, including Google's advertising technologies policy.

Your advertising choices

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google through My Ad Center. You may also manage many participating companies' personalized advertising choices at aboutads.info.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the availability or behavior of some website features and advertisements.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where required, we will request consent before serving personalized ads. If Google AdSense is used to serve personalized ads to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, an eligible consent management solution will be used as required by Google and applicable law.

We may update this policy when Row.md's data practices, advertising setup, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
